About the Artist
I am a Japanese-American freelance illustrator who graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in 2020. I specialize in editorial illustrations and am interested in venturing into the world of children’s book illustrations. I was on the MICA Dean’s List in 2019 and 2020 and received the MICA Trustee Academic Excellence Scholarship from 2016 to 2020. I currently live in Maryland with my boyfriend and our cat. I’m excited to work with you!
